BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC INTERNSHIPS:
Internship positions to work for the Danilo Perez Foundation are offered through Berklee College of Music's office of Experiential Learning. Students work developing different types of projects including volunteer work at the Panama Jazz Festival and research of Latin American music. Interns HAVE to be enrolled at Berklee College and they can ONLY apply through this institution.

This god-fathering program offers everyone an opportunity to contribute with the integral education of one of our students. We create a structured non-musical curriculum with artistic, sports, culinary (among other) activities, in order to expose the students to every aspect of culture. DEPARTMENT OF RESEARCH AND DOCUMENTATION:
This department is divided into:
1- Department of Panama: Dedicated to the documentation and archiving of the different aspects of Panamanian music. This department works closely with the Library and Museum Program.
2- Departament of Boston: Dedicated to the philosophical and ethnomusicological research of the different aspects of Panamanian music.

LIBRARY AND MUSEUM OF MUSIC:
2009 will be the official opening of our new Library and Museum of Music. This will be the only library and museum dedicated exclusively to the music of Panama in Panama, and it will be a public space dedicated to cultivate the arts, education and culture of Panama.

EARTH TRAIN:
The Danilo Perez Foundation is currently collaborating with the non-profit Earthtrain to research, document and archive all aspects of the music of the Emberá and Cuna indians of Panama. For Earthtrain website click HERE .
