BECA INSTRUMENTO MUSICAL:


This scholarship is open to Panamanian citizens between the ages of 10 and 40 and provides students and professional musicians an instrument to practice and/or work.
Requirements:
A minimum of one year of study in the instrument you are requesting
The instrument you request MUST be your primary instrument, NOT your secondary instrument 
You must send the:
Registration Form
 and pass an audition-interview
The deadline for the 2009 Beca Instrumento Musical is November 1st of 2008.
 
BECA MAESTRO DE MUSICA:

This scholarship is offered to a professional musician, music teacher, or exceptional music student from outside Panama City, that have contributed greatly to the development of music in their regions. This scholarship covers transportation, room, board, and access to all events of the Panama Jazz Festival. This scholarship is obtained by recommendation ONLY.

BECA DE ESTUDIOS MUSICALES:
 
This scholarship is given to Panamanian citizens with exceptional talent for music. The scholarship brings talented youth to the best music schools of the world with everything paid. This scholarship is given by recomendation ONLY. 
 
BECA PANAMA JAZZ FESTIVAL:
 
This scholarship was established thanks to the collaboration between the Presidency of the Republic of Panama, the National Institute of Culture, and the Danilo Perez Foundation and is open to Panamanian citizens, students of music, that audition and are accepted to the educational institutions that participate in the Panama Jazz Festival. Only students that are accepted to those institutions are elegible to apply. For a list of institutions that hold auditions during the Festival please visit our website www.panamajazzfestival.com This scholarships covers one part or all expenses to study music in the United States.
 
PANAMA JAZZ FESTIVAL AUDITIONS:
 
 Panama Jazz Festival 2009 auditions will take place in Panama City during the week of the Festival, Panama and are open to all Latin American students. The following institutions will audition for admission and scholarships:
New England Conservatory
Berklee College of Music

**Additionally, the Danilo Perez Foundation offers scholarships to all educational programs including the Panama Jazz Festival to students of limited resoruces of Panama.
